Nairobi, Kenya – November 18, 2024 – DEG Impulse gGmbH, is excited to open the call for applications to the develoPPP Ventures programme in Kenya, inviting startups to apply for non-dilutive funding of up to EUR 100K along with tailored technical support. Funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), the programme is launching its 8th cohort with implementation support from VC4A and ViKtoria Ventures.
Interested applicants candeveloPPP Ventures aims to empower young businesses with innovative models that create positive social or environmental impact in Kenya and beyond. The programme calls on eligible start-ups to apply by December 31, 2024, for an opportunity to secure co-financing to scale up their impactful solutions.
For its eighth cohort, the programme plans to replicate the success of its previous funding rounds with a focus on businesses with innovative models and a sustainable economic, ecological, or social impact in Kenya.
Participation requirements
- •The startup should be demonstrating a clear positive impact on development through their innovative business model.
- •Ready to scale their operations and amplify their impact.
- •Able to acquire matching funding from other investors.
