    Bruno Thomas Retires from East African Cables Board

    Bruno Thomas has retired from the board of directors of East African Cables effective 3 September 2020. In a statement, the cable manufacturer notes that Bruno has served as technical advisor for 14 years.

    Some of his milestones as technical director include modernization of the manufacturing facilities to world-class status, cost optimization, efficiency in production, and quality conformance. EA Cables held a virtual AGM on 3 September 2020.

    EA Cables reported Ksh630.9 million in net earnings for the period ended 31 December 2019. However, for the first six months of 2020, the firm made a loss of Ksh244.4 million attributed to supply chain disruptions due to the coronavirus pandemic.
