Britam General Insurance has announced the appointment of Jackson Theuri as its Chief Executive Officer in an acting capacity following the abrupt resignation of Margaret Kathanga.
In a statement, Britam said that Margaret, who had been at the General Insurance segment’s top for thirteen years, left to pursue personal interests.
Before his appointment, Jackson Theuri was serving as the company‘s chief operating officer.
Britam Holdings is a diversified financial services group that is listed on the Nairobi Securities Exchange. The group offers a wide range of financial products and services in insurance, asset management, property, and banking. It has a presence in seven Africa countries among them Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda, South Sudan, Mozambique and Malawi.
