Britam Holdings Plc has appointed Mr Tom Gitogo as the Group Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer with effect from 1st September 2022.
Prior to his appointment, Mr Gitogo served as CEO for CIC Insurance Group, overseeing the Group’s business in Kenya, Uganda, South Sudan, and Malawi.
He has also previously worked at Pan Africa Life (now Sanlam Insurance) for 7 years, and was also a Finance Director at Britam.
Mr Tom Gitogo holds a Master of Business Administration (Strategic Management) from Moi University, and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Nairobi.
He is also a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW), a member of the Institute of Certified Public Secretaries of Kenya (ICPSK), a Fellow of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya (ICPAK), and a member of the Institute of Directors of Kenya (IOD).
