Britam Holdings has appointed Michael Turner, the Managing Director of Actis East Africa, to its board of directors. The appointment took effect on 29th April 2021.
Michael Turner is a highly experienced financial industry professional and is a founding partner and managing director of the leading Private Equity company, Actis, East Africa. He is in charge of the strategic development of the Actis Business in East Africa. Mr Turner also serves as a non-executive Chairman in the board of I&M Burbidge Capital.
In addition to his valuable work experience, he holds a Bachelor of Science Civil Engineering from the University of Southampton UK and is a member of the Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
