Bolloré Logistics Kenya will provide logistics services to automobile company Mobius Motors under a new contract.
Bolloré will offer logistics services for vehicle assembly equipment for Mobius’s new generation manufacturing plant in Nairobi and supply chain logistics design and execution services to optimise operations.
The Agreement
Mobius Motors will procure automotive parts and accessories from the UK, South Africa, China, and India.
In the UK, Bolloré will pick-up the shipments from Mobius’s multiple suppliers and handle the consolidation of the cargo at its warehouse in Tilbury through operations such as labelling, packing, and pre-export verification of conformity (PVoC).
Once the cargo arrives in Kenya, Bolloré Logistics’ Kenyan team will conduct vehicle storage and customs clearance through their container freight station (CFS) facility at the Mombasa Container Terminal (MCT) and then deliver to the Mobius manufacturing plant.
