Veteran Silicon Valley executive Meg Whitman has been nominated by US President Joe Biden as America’s ambassador to Kenya.
Meg Whitman, who has served senior leadership positions in a number of blue chip US companies, will replace Kyle McCarter who resigned from the position in January 2021.
Meg Whitman has been at the helm of billion-dollar companies like eBay and Hewlett-Packard (HP) but her fame has extended beyond tech as she famously ran for California governor in 2010.
