The Standard and Poor’s 500, (S&P 500) a stock market index that tracks the performance of 500 large companies listed on stock exchanges in the United States was up by 28.79% in 2021, doubling since New Year’s 2018 and three-year total return exceeding 90% according to data from Bloomberg.
