British American Tobacco (BAT) Kenya has announced the appointment of Image Registrars Limited as firm’s official shares registrars effective 1st October 2019. All shareholders queries, registration for transfer of shares of the company, dividend claims and immobilisation of shares are now to be handled by Image Registrars.
BAT has also announced that any unclaimed dividends outstanding for more than three years will have to be surrendered to the Unclaimed Financial Assets Authority and any claims should be urgently lodged with the shares registrars.
Image Registrars Limited also handles other listed companies such as KenGen, Britam, Standard Chartered, Kenolkobil and Kenya’s largest firm Safaricom PLC.
