Apple Temporarily Closes Retail Stores Worldwide

Apple has temporarily closed its retail stores worldwide, a move that seeks to combat the fast spreading coronavirus (COVID-19).

According to the tech giant, the closures will last at least two weeks, until 27th March 2020.

However, according to the firm’s CEO, Tim Cook, they have reopened all their stores in China which were closed in early February at the peak of the virus outbreak.

Henceforth, the firm will only operate their online stores, with workers operating remotely.

Apple Inc. is an American multinational technology company headquartered in Cupertino, California. It designs, develops, and sells consumer electronics, computer software, and online services. It is considered one of the Big Four technology companies, alongside Amazon, Google, and Microsoft.
