Apple Opens All US Stores for the First Time Since March 2020

Apple has opened all its 270 stores in the United States since the onset of the pandemic in March 2020, when the phone maker closed its retail stores outside China. Stores in the country will still require customers to follow safety guidelines such as wearing masks, maintaining reduced occupancy, and checking temperatures upon entry.

Some stores outside the country, including those in Brazil and 12 in France, remain closed, with stores in Mexico reopening on March 2.

Following the reopening, some stores will allow walk-ins while others will require appointment only visits.

Apple is also expanding its physical presence, planning to open 17 mini-stores in Target in March 2020, as customers are expected to resume old shopping habits.

During the last one year of the pandemic, the phone maker close3d stores both at home and abroad, reopening and closing stores in some states as the virus spiked. The company also introduced express stores with a wall built in front of stores and sales counters protected by plexiglass like bank teller counters. In these stores, customers make an appointment to pick up orders.
