AfDB Commits to Support Women in Business in Kenya

The Africa Development Bank (AfDB) has made a commitment to support Kenyan women after a meeting with the First Lady Margaret Kenyatta.

Ms Nnena Nwabufo, AfDB’s Deputy Director-General, agreed to provide capacity building for women in business in Kenya. Capacity building is one of the key areas that the bank is keen on supporting.

This will enable Kenyan women to benefit from various development projects. The development projects will include those done by the Government in partnership with AfDB.
