Because Nairobi has continued to prove to be at the centre of East Africa’s economic, financial and transport growth, Accor has decided to set up its first MGallery unit in the city’s Gigiri town.
Accor Hotels, which is a French multinational hospitality company that owns, manages and franchises hotels, resorts, and vacation properties, has partnered with Jit Group to launch the MGallery in Gigiri.
Gigiri boasts of an affluent ambience, serenity, home to the UN and several international embassies, and with it being 8km from Westlands, 10km from Nairobi’s city centre and close to Village Market, it proves to the best pick for the facility.
Scheduled to be officially opened early 2021, The MGallery will be the fifth of the Accor Hotels facilities in Nairobi, with Fairmont, Ibis styles and Movenpick already in operation. The fourth of the group’s properties is set to be open later in 2019.
MGallery Gigiri will feature 105 rooms and suites; four restaurants, including an all-day dining venue, a signature dining experience, a pool bar, and a rooftop restaurant and bar; meeting rooms and a business centre; and wellness facilities spanning a gym, pool and spa.
MGallery Gigiri might be the revamp that we all have been waiting for, keeping in mind the striking architecture, well-manicured interiors and a soft touch that has never been felt before.
