ABSA to Offer Mortgage Facility to Tatu Home Owners

ABSA Bank has partnered with Tatu City to offer preferential mortgage rates to potential homebuyers in the special economic zones. The partnership will see clients own or purchase properties in Tatu’s Kijani ridge offering fully serviced plots from Ksh12.4 million.

ABSA says that customers will enjoy construction loans, equity releases, LARIBA mortgage, and insurance products such as mortgage protection, file insurance, and retrenchment cover.

ABSA says it will avail up to 80 percent financing to normal mortgage applicants and 100 percent financing to customers taking up construction mortgages. Tatu City received approval from the National Environmental Management Authority (NEMA) to start development on the project’s 2,500-acre second phase.
