AAR Insurance has partnered with CarePay to enable its customers to use Safaricom’s M-Tiba platform to access their services.
In the recent wake of technological advancement, the partnership gives customers the convenience of using their mobile phones to manage their accounts through access to mini-statements, ensure transparency of medical bills and henceforth, curb cases of bill inflation.
The service, which also serves as a bridge between the insurer, customer and health service provider, will replace the smart card currently in use, hence enabling all parties to get real-time data.
The service, in addition, also seeks to eliminate instances where one cannot access medical services because the card is either lost or damaged.
Being a mobile-based service, the new platform is accessible anywhere, provided one is covered by AAR and has a phone.
