Kenya’s leading chain of coffee shops, Java House has announced the opening of its first outlet in Kigali, Rwanda situated at Kigali Heights, next to Kigali Convention Centre.
The Rwandan shop marks Java’s 56th branch across the three East African markets including Uganda where it operates.
According to the company’s CEO, the chain currently employees over 2000 employees of African origin.
In Rwanda, the coffee chain says it will employ 56 individuals of which half of them will be of Rwandan origin while the rest will be outsourced from Kenya and Uganda.
The company also confirmed that they will soon be expanding into Tanzania by opening an outlet.
