Amid protests over the killing of George Floyd, US markets closed higher on Tuesday’s trading session with the Dow up 1.05%, Nasdaq 100 was up 0.61% while the S&P 500 closed 0.82% higher.
Zoom Video Communications on Tuesday released its quarterly earnings with its yoy revenue jumping 169% to $382.2 million. Income from operations stood at $23.4 million with 265,400 customers with more than 10 employees, a growth of 354% from the same quarter last year.
Prices of oil futures on Wednesday’s session hit a three month high following the release of data from the American Petroleum Institute (API) which indicated that oil inventories in the US decreased by 483,000 barrels in the week ending May 29.
According to Bloomberg, Brent for August deliveries rose 2% while West Texas Intermediate (WTI) for July rose by 2.70%.
