The weighted average yield on Kenya’s 182-day Treasury bills rose to 11.717 percent at an auction on Wednesday from 11.099 percent last week, the central bank said.
The yield on the 364-day Treasury bills eased to 12.482 percent from 12.561 percent last week.
The central bank offered bills worth 12 billion shillings ($117.30 million) and received bids worth 6.70 billion shillings, accepting 4.09 billion shillings.
The bank will offer 91-day, 182-day and 364-day bills next week worth a total 16 billion shillings
