Kenya’s largest retail chain, Tuskys Supermarkets has opened its 54th store in Kenya in the fast-growing town of Kitengela in Kajiado County, just 30 kilometers south of Capital Nairobi.
To be called “Tuskys Chap Chap Kitengela”, the new branch is located at Shell Petrol Station about two kilometers from the town on your way to Tanzania border of Namanga. The Branch became officially operational on 1st August 2017 and is expected to cater for the fast growing population of Kitengela Town.
The new convinient store has employed 15 people most of whom have been recruited from the region.
Kitengela normally referred to as “Kite” is part of the Nairobi Metropolitan Area and belongs to Kajiado County in the former Rift Valley Province. There are five cement factories in the area with more than ten major banks which have set up branches in the town over the last few years.
