Air France, the national airline of France, has added more direct flights between Nairobi and Paris starting June 15, 2023, due to a rise in demand.
The airline plans to increase its flights to Nairobi to seven times a week, which is an increase from the previous four.
This expansion of the route aims to bring benefits to both French and Kenyan companies, particularly those involved in horticulture, pharmaceuticals, and other industries that rely on air transportation.
The carrier’s decision to increase the frequency of flights comes as it celebrates its fifth anniversary on the Kenyan route, which began in 2018 at Charles de Gaulle Airport.
Air France has been here for five years, and despite hard times like the Covid-19 period, it is a clear sign that we are here to stay.
General Manager – Marius van der Ham
The GM emphasized that the expansion of flights not only links Kenya to Paris but also to other parts of the world through our two hubs, Charles De Gaulle and Schiphol. This is a crucial contribution to Kenya’s aviation sector and the broader business community.
Additionally, Air France will operate the latest generation Boeing 787 Dreamliner and B777 aircraft on this route. The premium economy will have 48 seats, while the economy will have 273 seats.
Furthermore, the GM expressed the company’s commitment to providing its customers with top-quality products in Kenya, which is one of its high-interest markets.
