Unionizable bank employees and bank management will enjoy a six percent salary increase within 2019-2021. This follows successful union negotiations for the three-year period.

Banking, Insurance, and Finance Union (BIFU) spokesperson Tom Odero together with Kenya Bankers Association representatives signed a collective bargaining agreement on behalf of unionizable bank employees and bank management.
