6 Nigerian Airlines Form Alliance to Improve Service

6 Nigerian airlines have come together to form an alliance dubbed the ‘Spring Alliance’, seeking to mutually support one another’s operations and improve service delivery to their passengers.

The objective of the alliance is to curb flight delays among the six partners; Azman Air, United Nigeria Airline, Arik, Air Peace, and Max Air.

The airlines are further looking to offer one another technical support and also ensure that passengers are airlifted by any of the members, no matter which airline’s ticket the passengers have.

Chairman of Air Peace and vice-president of the Airline Operators of Nigeria (AON), Allen Onyema, says the Spring Alliance is not limited to Nigerian airlines alone, as other African airlines could join, adding that the alliance originated from Nigeria, but open to the world.
