NSE 20 Share Index up as Britam Gains by 18.50% in two days

The Nairobi Securities Exchange (NSE)20 Share Index maintained above the 4000 benchmark point gaining by +0.20% to close at 4016.64 points.

This was driven by Trades in Britam, Stanchart and KenolKobil with Britam gaining by 18.5% since yesterday to close at Kes 12.95.

NASI and NSE 25 Share Index shed 1.44% and 0.01% respectively. Safaricom, Equity, KCB and Co-Operative bank dominated turnover and Volume at 79.67% and 82.31% of total respectively.

Foreign investors accounted for 66.96% of the total market turnover with a net outflow.

National Bank of Kenya shed by 9.88% to close at Ksh 10.95. as seen from the chart below

East African Cables recovered by 7.87% to close at Ksh 6.85.
